I grew up in Recife, Brazil! From an early age, I developed a deep love for community, fútbol (soccer), and beans and rice 😋. Later, I moved to Phoenix, AZ, for middle and high school before landing in sunny Los Angeles for college.

College Experience
UCLA was transformative for me, largely because of the incredible people I met. Connecting with friends from around the world broadened my perspective and expanded my horizons. But it wasn’t all socializing—I was an out-of-state student, and my family couldn’t cover college expenses. I worked full-time throughout college to support myself, balancing work and studies to make it all possible.

A Lifelong Adventurer
Beyond community, my love for nature defines me. I’m an avid backpacker and world explorer, always ready to jump into a lake, climb a tree, or spot some wildlife. Every chance to be outdoors is one I’ll take!
